The village has a quaint bar for an evening drink and an excellent cafe that serves great food up to 4pm each day. The cafe and bar are within easy walking distance of the cottage.

There is an excellent choice of meat and pies at Elliots Butchers. The Spar is also open to 8pm Monday to Saturday and 6pm on Sunday.
